The Brief

Aesthetic Treatment Guide is an online research platform designed to make the world of aesthetic treatments easier to understand.

The platform gives people a place to explore comprehensive, unbiased information about cosmetic procedures, helping them discover treatment options and make more informed decisions when consulting with their cosmetic practitioner.

The project required a large visual library that could illustrate the wide range of treatments presented throughout the site while remaining approachable and human.

The imagery needed to communicate confidence, wellbeing, and accessibility while supporting the educational tone of the platform.

The Challenge

Traditional photography would have required extensive casting, location planning, and production in order to create the number of images required for the platform.

Stock imagery also proved difficult to use. Many available images lacked diversity or did not align with the vibrant colour palette and modern tone used across the website.

The project required more than fifty images spanning a wide variety of people, expressions, and situations — all while maintaining a consistent visual language across the platform.

Creating that level of variety while maintaining cohesion presented a significant creative challenge.

The Approach

Using Human Image Design, a large library of lifestyle and editorial-style images was created specifically for the platform.

Each image was designed to feel vibrant, positive, and contemporary while aligning with the colour palette used throughout the site. The imagery focused on natural expressions, diverse representation, and everyday moments that reinforce a sense of wellbeing and confidence.

AI-generated photographic imagery formed the starting point for each visual, which was then refined using traditional retouching techniques to improve realism and visual consistency.

This approach allowed a large and varied image library to be created while maintaining a unified visual identity across the platform.

The Outcome

The project delivered a diverse library of more than fifty images used throughout the Aesthetic Treatment Guide platform.

The imagery helps illustrate treatment topics in a way that feels human and relatable while supporting the educational purpose of the site.

By designing the imagery specifically for the platform, the visuals remain visually consistent while representing a broad range of people and experiences.

The result demonstrates how Human Image Design can support large-scale visual systems where diversity, consistency, and efficiency are all essential.

For Aesthetic Treatment Guide, the imagery became part of the platform’s mission — helping people feel informed, confident, and comfortable exploring aesthetic treatments.
